Contating service personnel

Sirs: In this modern era of internet communications, I was rather surprised at the lack of E-Mail addresses in your directory. Especially, since most forms are now electronic, snail mail so unsecure and fax facilities so difficult to find. It would be so much easier to send the appropriate documents as an E-Mail attachment. Hello, Michael --

Thank you very much for writing. The information used to create our Service Directory databases is provided by the local municipality or nonprofit organization that obtains each Network of Care Web site.

It’s a nonstop job to update those records, and local or nonprofit agencies rarely have staff to work only on updating their databases. So, the process of adding email addresses has been slow but steady across the country. You’re absolutely right that email addresses are the easiest form of communication. We’re sure the number of email addresses in the database will slowly continue to increase.

If you have any other comments or suggestions about the Network of Care, please don’t hesitate to share them.

Have a great day,
Kathy Sterbenc
