I am the Co-Executive Director of a newly formed nonprofit called Trade&Row (www.tradeandrow.org) based in Los Angeles, CA. One of our board members has a colleague, Chris Jaymes, who is doing a documentary on psychiatry called Shrink Me (http://shrinkmetoday.blogspot.com/). We would like to have a brainstorming event in January 2009 on the prescription of psychotropic drugs where he would show up to film it and use in the documentary. Anyone who is interested in participating - please contact me. We have a venue in San Diego that has offered to host. Chris would also interview/film participants individually prior to the January 2009 event.

Our goal is to invite people who are/were currently/formerly on psychotropic drugs as well as therapists, and present alternative approaches to mental health issues. Of particular interest is the growing prescription of these medications to children.
