I am a Canadian resident and my elderly step Mom lives in Oceanside California. She has Dementia for approx four years.
Her immediate "caregiver" is not related to her and is not coopperating with family memebers.
I am concerned for her health and welfare and do not know of any Government agencies that I can contact for information.
Is there any Government agencies that I can contact to offer me the information to help my Step Mom ? She is not being taken care of properly and I am very concerned. Thank-you

There are many agencies as well as private nursing homes. They provide home care. You can contact to local agencies and gather information. Good luck for your search....

I think in every state there are lots of agencies, You may contact their and get proper information. You can also get a good assisted living where your step mom is residing. They take good and proper care of their residents...
