Imperial County Area Agency on Aging (AAA), Planning and Service Area (PSA) 24, is the pass-through entity and receives funding on an annual allocation basis from both the Federal Government and the State of California Government through Federal and State Titles III and VII, and Federal Title IIIE. The AAA service system that currently exists for seniors includes services in the areas of Information and Assistance, Long Term Care Ombudsman, Nutrition (both in a Congregate setting and Home Delivery), Nutrition Education, Transportation, Senior Health Clinics, Caregiver /Respite Care, Senior & Caregiver Legal Assistance and a partial administrative role in the Health Insurance Counseling and Advocacy Program (HICAP).
