LPS Conservatorship Services information provided by: Imperial County Department of Mental Health

Adult services provide a full range of forensic services to individuals referred for LPS Conservatorship by the court. Psychological and psychiatric evaluations are conducted, as well as an investigation for all individuals that qualify for LPS Conservatorship. ICBHS facilitates the initiation of appointments, reappointments and terminations of LPS Conservatorships in collaboration with County Counsel’s Office. ICBHS works with the Public Administrator Representative Payee. Case management services are also provided which consist of Targeted Case Management for individuals in Board and Care facilities, Case Monitoring for individuals in Institutions for Mental Disease or Skilled Nursing facilities. Services also include benefit coordination, evaluation, plan development, collateral contacts, crisis intervention, linkage and consultation, and placement services. Services are available Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, except holidays.
