BRIEF: Gardner's Moon Hill Brewing aids veterans through Black Ale Project
Telegram & Gazette - 1/11/2018
Jan. 11--Moon Hill Brewing Company, the parent company of the Gardner Ale House, 74 Parker St., Gardner, will be brewing a Black Ale Project beer they are calling Got Your Six. The Black Ale Project is a national craft beer initiative to raise money and awareness on behalf of U.S. war veterans. The proceeds from this beer will be donated to Gardner's Montachusett Veteran's Outreach Center. Black Ale Project Brew Day is Jan. 13.
Moon Hill Brewing owner, Rick Walton, said "We will dedicate a tap in the pub to Got Your Six, which will remain until the beer sells out, which should be pretty quick since it's a chocolate orange Imperial Stout."
Several veteran beer enthusiasts have been invited to help with the non-traditional brew day, so it will be "all hands on deck," according to Walton.
